Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribal College Holds First-Ever Convocation

John Haumpo receives a stole, Pendleton blanket, Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribal College medallion and framed diploma from Dr. Henrietta Mann, president of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribal College during Convocation held August 30 in Colony, site of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes' Labor Day festivities.

Among those participating in the ceremonies were (from left) Master of Ceremonies Gordon Yellowman, C&A Tribal College President Dr. Henrietta Mann and 2008 Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribal College Princess Cristina "Cricket" Yellowman.
The Convocation was the first-ever one for the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribal College, which is housed at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford. Thirteen graduates comprised the first class of graduates.
