SWOSU Students Show Posters at OSA
Fourteen students enrolled in sociology/criminal justice courses in the Southwestern Oklahoma State University Department of Social Sciences presented posters at the recent annual meeting of the Oklahoma Sociological Association held in Claremore.
The Oklahoma Sociological Association is composed of sociologists and others from around the state of Oklahoma who are interested in advancing sociology as an academic and scientific discipline. The organization routinely encourages participation from undergraduate students.
SWOSU students participating were: Lauren Myers, Jessica Speegle, Laci Jo Vianco, Diana Leon, Ashley Slemp, Susie Awopeju, Winona Youngbird, Travis McLemore, Chris Hansen, Courtland Lane, Yhecho Radevski, Ryan McAdory, Teresa Humphreys and Mandy Washa. Student participation in the conference was supported by the Department of Social Sciences and the Criminal Justice Students Association.
Faculty sponsors were sociology faculty members Donna Barlow and Dr. Philip D. Holley.
