Ultimate Dessert Showdown Planned February 16

A SWOSU pharmacy organization is hosting its first-ever Ultimate Dessert Showdown on Monday, February 16.

American Pharmacists Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists is hosting the come-and-go event from 7-9 p.m. at the Weatherford Church of Christ Fellowship Hall.

Rachel Ingram said pharmacy students and faculty will be entering desserts in the baking contest. Tickets are $4 in advance and $5 at the door to taste all the desserts. Coffee and tea will also be served. 

The group will be selling tickets February 9-13 from 8:50 a.m. until 12:50 p.m. on the third floor of the Chemistry, Pharmacy, Physics Building. Tickets can also be arranged by emailing Ingram at ingramr@student.swosu.edu.
