SWOSU-Sayre Hosting Writing Competition
Southwestern Oklahoma State University at Sayre will hold its 10th annual Timed WARP (writing and research project) event for area high school juniors on Tuesday, February 24.
SWOSU-Sayre language and literature instructor Judy Haught said the day's activities will include a research and writing competition for the students and a service learning workshop for English teachers.
The participants with the top three essays will be awarded scholarships.
Lunch, entertainment and prizes will also be provided for the participating students and their teachers.
