April 13, 2009

We Shall Remain, a Public Broadcasting System American Experience series, will be shown at Southwestern Oklahoma State University on April 13, 20, 27 and May 4 on the Weatherford campus.

The Al Harris Library and the Cheyenne-Arapaho Tribal College are sponsoring the screening on Native American history.

The documentary will be shown on the plasma TV monitors in the news room area of the library at 8 p.m. each evening. A short discussion period following the episodes will be encouraged for those wishing to participate.

We Shall Remain brings to life some of the key events, peoples, and stories that helped form this nation. The documentary series is the centerpiece of a far-reaching multimedia project and national outreach campaign.
