SWOSU Students Present Chemistry Research Projects at OACS

Several Southwestern Oklahoma State University students recently presented chemistry research projects at the 54th annual Oklahoma American Chemical Society Pentasectional Meeting held recently in Tulsa.
SWOSU faculty Dr. David Esjornson and Dr. Curt Woolever accompanied the students to the event.
SWOSU posters featured at the meeting included:
- "Differential Pulse Anodic Stripping Voltammetry (DPASV) for the Detection of Barium and Lead from Oil Well Water" by Desiray Cannon of McAlester, Crystal Mars of Oklahoma City (Putnam City), Gwendolyn Ramon of Mustang, and Dr. Curt Woolever
- "Preparation and Characterization of Re(NCH3)Cl3(P(CH3)3)2" by Terri Kardokus of Lookeba-Sickles and Dr. David Esjornson
- "Preparation and Characterization of Rhenium (V) Bromide Complexes of the Type Re(NCH3)Br3(Pr3)2" by Sarah Webb of Owasso and Dr. David Esjornson
