Brown Elected President-Elect of OCJA
Dr. Dan Brown (right), assistant professor in the political science department at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, was recently elected president-elect of the Oklahoma Criminal Justice Association at the group's recent annual convention held in Edmond. Brown will serve as vice president during the upcoming school year, assisting current president Dan Denny of East Central University. Brown will assume the position of president in 2010, and the 2011 conference will be held at SWOSU. this is the second time that an SWOSU representative has served as the group's president. Dr. Philip d. Holley served as the first president in 2005-2006. Congratulating Brown is Dr. Radwan Al-Jarrah, dean of the SWOSU College of Arts and Sciences.
