SWOSU Plans Homecoming Activities for October 23-24

Southwestern Oklahoma State University will celebrate homecoming activities on Friday and Saturday, October 23-24, in Weatherford.

Everyone is invited to participate in all homecoming activities. Additional information is available by calling the SWOSU Alumni Association office at (580) 774-3267. Information is also available on the SWOSU website at www.swosu.edu. Theme for this year's Homecoming celebration is "SWOSU Spirit Through the Decades."

SWOSU homecoming activities include:

Friday, October 23

• 7:30 pm Comedian Demetri Martin-Panorama Event-Fine Arts Center (Tickets required....call 580-774-3063)

Saturday, October 24

• 9 am Runnin' with the Big Dawgs 5K Run and Fun Walk-USATF Sanctioned and Certified-Registration at the Alumni Centennial Clock Tower Plaza
• 10 am-1pm College of Pharmacy Open House and 10-year and 25-year alumni reunions at Chemistry/Pharmacy/Physics Building 3^rd Floor
• 11 am Pharmacy 50 Year Recognition Reception at Chemistry/Pharmacy/Physics Building 3^rd Floor
• 11 am 4^th annual Dawgfest Classic Car Show-State and Main Streets in downtown Weatherford  
• 3 pm Homecoming Parade in Downtown Weatherford
• 4 pm Music Department Open House/Reception in Fine Arts Center
• 4 pm 50 Year Alumni Recognition Reception, Skybox, Wellness Center
• 6 pm SWOSU Bulldogs vs. East Central University Football Game
• Fireworks display after the game
• 10 pm Concert featuring Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers-Wellness Center-Free Admission sponsored by the SWOSU Alumni Association
