Carmen Reed and The Haunting in Connecticut Planned at SWOSU
Just in time for Halloween, the movie The Haunting in Connecticut will be shown and Carmen Reed will share the true life story of the movie at a special presentation Tuesday, October 27, at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford.
The SWOSU Residence Life Department is sponsoring the event at 8 p.m. on the Cecil Perkins Practice Field south of Milam Stadium. Admission is free, and there will be free food, contests and prizes, according to director Chad Martin.
The movie will be shown on a giant outdoor movie screen, and then Reed will be in attendance to share the true life story. Reed is the mom that lived in the haunted funeral home in the movie story. The Haunting in Connecticut is the most popular and most aired Discovery Channel documentary in the channel's history.
In case of inclimate weather, the event will be held at the SWOSU Conference Center.
