SWOSU-Sayre Business Organization Seeks Donations for Area Families

Members of Phi Beta Lambda at Southwestern Oklahoma State University-Sayre are accepting donations for Action Associates, an organization that helps clients in distress obtain services. 

Those services include an around-the-clock crisis hotline that is staffed seven days a week, a residential shelter for women and children who are victims of domestic abuse, domestic violence education, transportation, and out-client domestic violence education and advocacy. 

Action Associates has locations in Elk City, Cheyenne, and Clinton.

Requested items include new and used women's and children's clothing, non-perishable foods, personal care items, laundry and cleaning products and Kleenex.

If anyone would like to donate, items can be placed in boxes at two SWOSU-Sayre buildings-the Alexander Building and Mackey Hall. For more information, call SWOSU-Sayre instructor and PBL sponsor Holly Hernandez at (580) 928-5533 extension 153.
