SWOSU Music Department to Present Handel's The Messiah

The SWOSU Community Chorus will perform the Christmas portion of George Frideric Handel's The Messiah on both Sunday and Monday, November 29-30, in Weatherford.

Both concerts will be at 7 p.m. and admission is free.

The Sunday performance will be at the First United Methodist Church, 817 N. Seventh Street. The Monday performance will be in the lobby of the Fine Arts Center on the SWOSU campus.

The performance will feature the Community Chorus Orchestra and soloists Jeff Byrnes from Louisiana State University, Jonathan Gibbons from the University of North Texas and Dallas Opera and SWOSU graduate students Amanda Hughes of Alva and Mallory Turlington of Weatherford.
