Non-Profits Invited to Planned Giving and Ethics Seminar at SWOSU
A planned giving and ethics seminar is planned Wednesday, December 2, at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford.
The free seminar is open to the public but registration is required by calling Nicole Boyles in the SWOSU Foundation Office at 580.774.3267.
Johni Hays, senior gift planning consultant for The Stelter Company, will conduct the seminar. Boyles said the seminar will be beneficial to all non-profit organizations. Individuals can also earn continuing legal education credits at the seminar.
Some of the topics will include the latest developments in gift planning including the charitable Rollover IRA legislation, current stats on giving during life and at death, giving techniques, and ethical issues in planning giving.
The seminar will be held in the SWOSU Conference Center, located at the corner of Seventh and Davis Streets in Weatherford. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the seminar will start at 8 a.m.
