Big Thunder Bright Lights

Art work by Dr. Warren Moseley has received a Special Recognition Merit Award for his work selected for the 11th annual Contemporary Art Juried Online International Art Exhibition hosted by Upstream People Gallery in the United States.

Moseley's piece "Big Thunder Bright Lights" was selected for the work and is featured online at http://www.upstreampeoplegallery.com.

His art piece revolves around a three dimensional rendering of the space shuttle and a simulated launch. Moseley said night launches are spectacular because all lights are turned out 30 seconds before launch. Moseley then created a digital painting from the image generated by the simulation.

Moseley, who is a professor in the computer science department, had two other pieces selected, including "Horse Farm at Sunset" and "Lighthouse in the Moonlight."
