McAtee to Head Oklahoma Bid Assistance Network Site for West Central Oklahoma
Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Caddo Kiowa Technology Center, Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education and Western Technology Center have joined forces to grow the local economy by joining the Oklahoma Bid Assistance Network (OBAN).
The new consortium office will be located on the CKTC campus in Fort Cobb. Todd McAtee of Clinton will coordinate the program.
The Oklahoma Bid Assistance Network assists businesses in completing registrations and applications, identifying marketing strategies, finding new business opportunities, researching information necessary to complete successful bids and improving skills in writing and presenting proposals.
McAtee and the network will also assist in researching and understanding the many regulations governing federal procurement. Almost 2,000 Oklahoma companies receive services from OBAN each year. These companies represent many kinds of businesses, including manufacturing, construction, transportation, information technology services and a wide range of professional services.
McAtee brings a business and sales background to the program. He is a graduate of Clinton High School and Southwestern Oklahoma State University and a lifelong resident of the west central Oklahoma area. McAtee will be meeting members of local Chambers of Commerce and manufacturers to explain the program and how it can help grow communities and businesses. He will assist local manufacturers in finding bids and guide them through the bidding process.
McAtee may be reached by phone at 405.643 3286 or 580.45.6138 or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
