SWOSU-Sayre To Host Financial Aid Application Help Session

February 24, 2010

Help is available for students and parents struggling to complete financial aid paperwork for college-bound students.

The Southwestern Oklahoma State University-Sayre Office of Student Financial Services will help area residents fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on Tuesday, March 9, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in Room 119 of the Alexander Building on the SWOSU-Sayre campus.

SWOSU-Sayre Student Financial Services Director Ron Kistler and his assistant, Nancy Sanders, will help parents and students complete their application and answer any questions about financial aid for college.

"We will actually help them complete the on-line FAFSA application in our computer lab on campus," Kistler said.

The event is free and open to parents and students alike.

Kistler said parents and students need to bring their completed 2009 income tax information or W-2 forms. Also, driver licenses are also needed.

For more information about the SWOSU-Sayre Financial Aid Night, call Kistler or Nancy Sanders at (580) 928-5533 or stop by the SWOSU-Sayre campus at 409 E. Mississippi.
