Baugher and SWOSU Receive NASA Grant for Various Projects

Madeline Baugher, instructor in the Southwestern Oklahoma State University Department of Accounting, Computer Science and Entrepreneurship and the SWOSU institutional representative to the Oklahoma NASA Grant Consortium, recently received a $39,000 grant from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the University of Oklahoma.

Baugher’s grant award will provide funding for students to pursue scholarly research and workforce development activities on various projects, including balloon satellite launches led by Brad Bryant; the First Tech Challenge Robotics project spearheaded by Brad Fitzgerald; and an astronomical spectroscopy project overseen by Dr. Wayne Trail.
