The PBL National Leadership Conference will be held June 23-26 in Orlando (FL). The SWOSU students will be raising funds to help sponsor the trip. Anyone who would like to help, contact Dalton Holdge at 405-668-0275 or email@example.com.
At the state leadership conference, all students and advisors attended workshops, general sessions and opening ceremonies. Grant Baldwin was the guest speaker for the general session. Holdge, who is president of the SWOSU-Weatherford chapter of the PBL, said Baldwin pointed out the fact that like the song, Life is a Highway, people do not know every twist and turn but everyone needs to learn and grow every step of the way.
