SWOSU Physics Students Win Awards

Southwestern Oklahoma State University physics alumni, students, staff and friends recently attended the 30^th annual Physics Spring Banquet on the Weatherford campus. SWOSU students were honored with various awards.

Among those receiving awards were (from left): Cal Humphrey, Rocky, $1,500 JR Pratt Scholarship and Outstanding Student in Physics Award; Jonathan Brooks, Weatherford, Sigma Pi Sigma inductee; and Micah Webb, Altus, Sigma Pi Sigma inductee and Outstanding Mid-classman in Physics Award.

Among those receiving awards were (from left): Michael Moore, Guthrie, $1,000 Chesapeake Scholarship; Shawna McCoy, Kingfisher, $750 Arthur McClelland Memorial Scholarship; and Wil Markus, Kingfisher, $1,000 Ray C. Jones Scholarship.
