SWOSU's TKEs Win Six National Awards

Tau Kappa Epsilon social fraternity at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford recently received six national awards from the TKE national headquarters.

According to TKE chapter president Joseph Dube, the SWOSU fraternity received:

  • Most Improved Chapter Award for recruitment results that compared favorably to the recruitment results of all other fraternities on campus
  • Two Excellence in Recruitment awards for having a chapter size of over 50 men and for the number of men initiated into the fraternity
  • Two Excellence in Achievement Awards for academic success in the chapter and extracurricular activities such as intramurals and involvement in other campus organizations
  • Excellence in Involvement Award for community service.

“These awards show that our hard work is paying off,” Dube said.  “We are very proud of our actions on campus and in the community.”
