Dr. Foust Serves as Nurse of the Day at State Capitol

Dr. Cynthia Foust, RN, of Thomas recently served as “Nurse of the Day” on May 17 at the  Oklahoma State Capitol in Oklahoma City.

Dr. Foust, vice president for student affairs and associate provost at SWOSU, volunteered to provide services at the State Capitol’s First Aid Station, which serves Oklahoma legislators, their staff and hundreds of visitors at the Capitol each day.

The “Nurse of the Day” program is sponsored by the Oklahoma Nurses Association, which is the professional organization for registered nurses in Oklahoma.

Dr. Foust was introduced to both chambers of the Oklahoma Legislature by Representative Harold Wright and Senator Mike Schultz. Dr. Foust received certificates of appreciation for this service.
