Kiwanis and Rotary Clubs Staging Blood Drive at SWOSU

Weatherford Kiwanis Club’s Bobby Marsee (left) and Rotary Club’s Cindy Foust hold up t-shirts that will be given away at Monday’s (June 27) blood drive at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford. The two civic clubs have a friendly battle for bragging rights to see which club can get the most donors. The drive is from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. in the Wellness Center. Everyone is invited and there will be free t-shirts for all donors. In the middle is Oklahoma Blood Institute Consultant Rick Story.

Two highly-successful Weatherford civic clubs will engage in a friendly battle for bragging rights at a special blood drive coming up this Monday, June 27, on the campus of Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford.

Kiwanis Club and Rotary Club members are seeking people to give blood in their club’s names to see which club can get the most blood donors.

The drive is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Monday at the SWOSU Wellness Center. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. There will be free t-shirts for all donors.

The drive is conducted by the Oklahoma Blood Institute.
