Scavenger Hunt, Costume Contest and Pumpkin Carving Planned Thursday for SWOSU

October 26, 2011

Multiple Halloween-themed events are planned Thursday, October 27, by the Southwestern Oklahoma State University Student Government Association in Weatherford.

Starting at 4 p.m. at the University Clock Tower, all SWOSU students are invited to participate in the 4th annual pumpkin carving contest. Prizes will be awarded to the top three pumpkins.

Then at 7:30 p.m., all students are invited to a Batman-inspired scavenger hunt to discover “Who Kidnapped Duke the Bulldog?” Participants must solve riddles to outwit the villains of Gotham City.

At the conclusion of the scavenger hunt, SGA will host a costume contest. Students should meet at the SGA Center. The best seven costumes will win prizes.
