George Speaks to National Community Pharmacist Association Chapter at SWOSU

SWOSU College of Pharmacy graduate Greg George of Hinton recently spoke to the National Community Pharmacists Association on the Weatherford campus.

NCPA, formerly known as the National Association of Retail Druggists, holds various meetings throughout the year, and George, a 1991 graduate of SWOSU, was the recent guest of the organization.

The NCPA is an organization devoted to promoting the opportunities and responsibilities of retail pharmacists. The SWOSU College of Pharmacy student chapter was founded in the spring of 1995. It is open to any student interested in the area of retail pharmacy.

NCPA activities include the annual national convention, National Pharmacy Week, and High Noon Independent Pharmacists.  Faculty sponsorship is provided by Dr. Benny French and Dr. Rahmat Talukder.
