Students Competing for Miss SWOSU Title on November 12

Seven SWOSU coeds are contestants in the Miss SWOSU Scholarship Pageant coming up Saturday, November 12, at 7 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center on the Weatherford campus of Southwestern Oklahoma State University.

SWOSU students will compete for the title of Miss SWOSU 2012. The winner advances to the Miss Oklahoma Pageant in the summer of 2012.

Current Miss Oklahoma Betty Thompson will serve as mistress of ceremonies. Entertainers for the evening will be current Miss Southwestern Rachel Denison of Idabel, Miss SWOSU’s Outstanding Teen 2011 Danielle Lewis of Lawton, and  Kendi & Kompany. 

Advance tickets are $7 for non-SWOSU students and $5 for SWOSU students.  All tickets at the door are $10. Advance tickets are available in Room 205 of the SWOSU Administration Building and from all contestants.

Also taking place in conjunction with the Miss SWOSU Pageant is Miss SWOSU’s Outstanding Teen Pageant featuring eight contestants and a Miss SWOSU Little Star program featuring 27 candidates.
