SWOSU SGA Planning Events and Seeking Suggestions
The Southwestern Oklahoma State University Student Government Association hosts its weekly meeting at 6 p.m. each Thursday in Room 104 of the General Thomas P. Stafford Center on the Weatherford campus.
The meetings are open to all SWOSU students, and SGA President John Saluke invites all students to attend meetings and submit ideas for bettering SWOSU. There are some senator positions that are open, so students are invited to join.
According to SGA Public Relations Secretary Blaine Boyd, the SWOSU SGA is the students’ representative to Faculty Senate. SGA is always looking for ways to better serve the students and the campus.
SGA will host SWOSUPalooza later this semester. The annual music event will be held in the Wellness Center on April 19. The Palooza committee is still accepting demos from possible artists to open for the headliners with the theme “Raps and Chaps.”
For more information on joining SGA, submitting a demo for SWOSUPalooza, or to make suggestions concerning issues on campus for SGA to consider, contact Boyd at firstname.lastname@example.org or 580.02.4200.
