VIPER Presents Clothesline Project
SWOSU’s Violence Intervention, Prevention and Early Response (VIPER) program will present the 4th annual Clothesline Project this Monday through Friday, April 16-20, in the Memorial Student Center lobby on the Weatherford campus.
The Clothesline Project is held to observe April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month. T-shirts designed by students, employees and community members affected by sexual assault will be exhibited throughout the lobby. Everyone is invited and encouraged to stop by and visit the exhibit.
On Monday, April 16, from 1-4 p.m., VIPER will have a table in the lobby with t-shirts and decorating supplies for anyone who would like to contribute to the project. Materials will be available throughout the week in the VIPER office, Stafford Center Room 346.
The Clothesline Project is a national campaign that started in Cape Cod (MA) in 1990 to raise awareness of domestic violence.
