Eichinger Named New Director of SWOSU Small Business Development Center
Mary Eichinger is the new director of the Southwestern Oklahoma State University Small Business Development Center.
Eichinger, who served as the Center’s coordinator of the Lawton office since 2005, started her new position in April.
The SWOSU OSBDC provides counseling and training in the 15-county region of Southwest Oklahoma to entrepreneurs who want to successfully start, manage and grow their own businesses.
Eichinger—who has an extensive business, marketing and academic background—holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration (marketing) from Oklahoma State University and an MBA from Oklahoma City University.
She is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma and was named the 2008 Oklahoma State Star by the Association of Small Business Development Centers and was the 2007 SBA Veteran’s Small Business Champion for the State of Oklahoma. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Lawton-Fort Sill Chamber of Commerce and is active in numerous other community organizations.
Eichinger currently resides in Lawton with her husband, Michael, a retired USAR Colonel who is a program manager for Charles F. Day and Associates.
