SWOSU Mind Games Team Defeats Cameron to Advance to Semifinals

Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s Mind Games team has advanced to the semifinals of the competition that is held on KSBI-TV in Oklahoma City.

SWOSU defeated Cameron University, 380-120, in the quarterfinals. For their efforts, the SWOSU team won $2,500 in scholarship money.

SWOSU will now play Northwestern Oklahoma State University on Wednesday, May 9, at 8 p.m. on KSBI-TV.  Mind Games is a buzzer-quiz game comparable to Quiz Bowl or Jeopardy. The game is based on knowledge in all academic fields.

The team is coached by Dr. Kevin Collins and team members are: Zeke Mills, Springfield MO; Gaston Hart, Edmond (Santa Fe); Tanner Fisher, Calumet; Erika Christner, Drummond; and Jim Ferguson, Elk City.
