SWOSU Receives $7,015 Grant from MODA for Main Street Building
Southwestern Oklahoma State University recently received a $7,015 grant from the Midwestern Oklahoma Development Authority to assist in the completion of renovations for the SWOSU Main Street Building in Weatherford.
Jennifer Dickey, development coordinator in the SWOSU Office of Institutional Advancement, was the principal investigator of the award.
The SWOSU Main Street project is a collaborative effort between the Weatherford Area Chamber of Commerce and SWOSU. Working together to improve the community, area and state, Dickey said the project helps promote efforts of support and growth. This facility will display artworks and artifacts reflecting the history and growth of SWOSU in a new museum as well as being the new home of the Weatherford Area Chamber of Commerce.
