Necessary and Kemp Awarded SWOSU Scholarships
Southwestern Oklahoma State University students James Necessary of Adair and Dakota Kemp of Fairview were awarded the 2012 SWOSU College of Professional and Graduate Studies Scholarships for the Parks and Recreation Management Department. Necessary is a senior majoring in parks and wildlife law enforcement and minoring in tactical leadership. He is currently serving as a seasonal law enforcement officer for the U.S. Forest Service at the Tongas National Forest in Alaska. Kemp is a senior majoring in parks and wildlife law enforcement and minoring in parks and recreation management. He is currently serving as a seasonal park ranger for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Ft. Supply Lake. Both men intend to pursue careers in federal natural resource law enforcement upon graduation.
