Disabled American Veterans to Provide Assistance at SWOSU
September 11, 2012
The Northwest Oklahoma chapter of the Disabled American Veterans will be on the Weatherford campus of SWOSU on Wednesday, September 19, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Representatives will provide free assistance to current and former members of the U.S. military with the GI Bill, disability claims, Veterans Affairs health care and VA home loans. They will be housed in an RV-style vehicle in the parking lot south of the Centennial Clock Tower Plaza on the SWOSU campus.
The DAV’s mission is empowering veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. They accomplish this by making sure veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available.
For more information on the event, please contact SWOSU Veterans Affairs Coordinator Christina McClane by phone at 580.774.3008 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. For information on the DAV, please visit www.nwokdav.org or call 580.278.1377.
