SWOSU Announces Homecoming Candidates

Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s Homecoming is Saturday, October 27, and 18 homecoming king and queen candidates were recently announced for the festivities in Weatherford.

Student voting will take place on D2L between Thursday, October 11, at 8 a.m. and Friday, October 12, at 5 p.m. The list of candidates will be narrowed to three king and three queen candidates.

Queen candidates are: Zandra Allen, Glenpool, sponsored by Stewart Hall; Ashleigh Bonds, Elk City, SWOSU Cheer; Rachel Ann Denison, Idabel, Baptist Collegiate Ministries; Cassandra Dirickson, Keokuk IA, Medical Professionals Club; Audra Green, Yukon, Zeta Phi; Jasmine Helmick, Lawton, Black Student Association; Destiny Kinzer, Oologah, Tau Beta Sigma; Briana Klein, Lawton, Sigma Sigma Chi; Katie Max, Blanchard, Gamma Epsilon Alpha Delta; Patty Murphy, Yukon, Oklahoma Hall; Brittany (Byrd) Shumate, Del City, Sexual Orientation Diversity Association; and Adriana Walker, Guymon, New Student Orientation.

King candidates are: Clayton Harris, Norman, Rogers & Jefferson Halls; Garrett Hofmann, Altus, SWOSU Cheer; Jarred Patterson, Houston TX, Black Student Association; Chad Phillips, Moore, SWOSU Cheer; Jeff Pratt, Santa Rosa CA, Neff Hall; and Patrick (Logan) Whitley, Cassville MO, Baptist Collegiate Ministries.
