SWOSU College of Pharmacy Honoring Class of '62 at Homecoming
Southwestern Oklahoma State University College of Pharmacy alumni and friends are invited to celebrate SWOSU’s Homecoming this Saturday, October 27.
The SWOSU College of Pharmacy will have an open house from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
“This is a casual, come-and-go event that gives our alumni and friends a chance to visit with Dean Dennis Thompson, view the pharmacy school facilities and pharmacy museum, take a stroll through the Pharmacy Alumni Garden, and visit with faculty and former classmates,” said SWOSU COP Alumni and Development Director Patti Harper.
A special tribute to the Class of 1962 will be held during the 50-year Pharmacy Graduate Ceremony at 11 a.m. Following the ceremony, the Pharmacy Alumni Association is providing a complimentary lunch for all pharmacy alumni and guests attending the open house.
All events will be held on the third floor of the Chemistry, Physics, Pharmacy Building on the SWOSU campus.
“Homecoming is a special time for the College of Pharmacy and for its alumni to come back and reconnect with friends and faculty,” Harper said. “We are excited about the return of so many of our pharmacy graduates. It is an indication of their loyalty, pride and continued support for the SWOSU College of Pharmacy.”
