Cajun Themed Tailgate and Cook-Off Challenge Planned Saturday at SWOSU
SWOSU’s Residence Life will continue the Tailgate and Cook-off Challenge this Saturday, October 27, prior to the Bulldogs’ homecoming football game against Southern Nazarene University.
This week’s challenge is a Cajun theme. Teams have the freedom to cook any food involving the theme. Challenge participants can arrive at 1 p.m. to set up and begin cooking with a cooks meeting beginning at 3 p.m. Along with the challenge, ResLife will have Code Blue showing the day’s football games and will provide Jigg’s barbecue and soft drinks for fans.
ResLife hosts the challenge with the winning team receiving $500 and the second place team getting a $100 gift card. Points are awarded each week and teams keep their top three scores. At the end of the season, the team with the most points wins an additional $1,000.
