Ten SWOSU Coeds to Compete for Miss SWOSU Title

Ten Southwestern Oklahoma State University students will compete for the title of Miss SWOSU 2013 on Saturday, November 10, on the Weatherford campus.

The 7 p.m. pageant will be held in the Fine Arts Center, and the winner advances to the Miss Oklahoma Pageant in the summer of 2013.

Contestants are: Kiley Wilson, Norman; Lindsey Thrash, Mooreland; Morgan Cook, Weatherford; Brooke McCullough, Enid; Tia Sauer, Weatherford; Jessica Heiser, Altus; Bailey Bell, Weatherford; Laura Burleigh, Poteau; Mikah Pendleton, Yukon; and Izabel Martinez, Elk City.

Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2011 Lacey Russ will serve as mistress of ceremonies. Miss Oklahoma Alicia Clifton and Miss Oklahoma’s Outstanding Teen Julianne Thomison will be in attendance and will provide entertainment for the evening. Other Entertainers for the evening will be current Miss Southwestern Jenna Crispin of Taloga and Miss SWOSU’s Outstanding Teen 2012 Lauren Russ of Cordell.

Advance tickets are $7 for non-SWOSU students and $5 for SWOSU students.  All tickets at the door are $10. Advance tickets are available in Room 205 of the SWOSU Administration Building and from all contestants.

Also taking place in conjunction with the Miss SWOSU Pageant is Miss SWOSU’s Outstanding Teen Pageant featuring six contestants and a Miss SWOSU Little Star program featuring 32 participants.
