SWOSU Honors 50-Year Pharmacy Graduates
The Southwestern Oklahoma State University College of Pharmacy recently honored 50-year pharmacy graduates with a recognition ceremony held on the Weatherford campus.
Honorees from the Class of 1962 attending the recognition ceremony were: Thomas Alton Armstrong, Dumas, TX; Bobby (Bob) Wayne Brown, Hale Center, TX; John Ronald Cates, Addison, TX; Ronald Ray Cheyne, Granbury, TX; William Richard Dill, McKinney, TX; Robert (Bob) Wayne Elliott, Lawton; Thelma Fern Harms, Clinton; Marlene C. Willms Hildebrand, Choctaw; Rodney Jess Riggs, Pittsburg, KS; Jerry Leon Snider, Cushing; James M. Walker, Midwest City; and Claude David Walter, Muenster, TX.
Patti Harper, alumni and development officer for the SWOSU College of Pharmacy, welcomed all the alumni and friends to the program. Associate Dean Dr. David Ralph read the names of the honored guests, and Dean Dr. Dennis Thompson presented each honoree with gifts before giving the closing remarks.
Following the event, a lunch was provided for pharmacy alumni and friends by the SWOSU Pharmacy Alumni Association.
