Dupree Named Interim Library Director at SWOSU

Jason Dupree has been named interim library director of SWOSU’s Al Harris Library on the Weatherford campus.

Dupree has been a faculty member at SWOSU since 2002. He is head of public services at the library.

Dupree graduated from Phillips University in Enid in 1994 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. He then studied at the University of Oklahoma where he received Master’s degrees in Library/Information Science and Art History.

He has held library and instructor positions at the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma Baptist University.

Dupree takes over for Jon Sparks, who recently retired from SWOSU. A national search for a permanent director is underway.
