SWOSU College of Pharmacy Plans Busy Day for Homecoming
Southwestern Oklahoma State University College of Pharmacy alumni and friends are invited to celebrate SWOSU’s Homecoming this Saturday, October 26.
The SWOSU College of Pharmacy will have an open house from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
“This is a casual, come-and-go event that gives our alumni and friends a chance to reminisce with pharmacy classmates, view the pharmacy school facilities and pharmacy museum, take a stroll through the Pharmacy Alumni Garden, and visit with faculty and students,” said Patti Harper, alumni and development director for the SWOSU College of Pharmacy.
A special tribute to the Class of 1963 will be held during the pharmacy alumni recognition ceremony at 11 a.m. New pharmacy alumni awards, Pharmacy Professional Achievement Award and a College of Pharmacy Humanitarian Award will be presented during the ceremony.
Following the ceremony, the SWOSU Pharmacy Alumni Association is providing a complimentary lunch for all pharmacy alumni and guests attending the open house.
All events will be held on the third floor of the Chemistry, Physics, Pharmacy Building on the SWOSU campus.
“Homecoming is a special time for the College of Pharmacy and for its alumni to come back and reconnect with friends and faculty,” Harper said. “We are excited about the return of so many of our pharmacy graduates. It is an indication of their loyalty, pride and continued support for the SWOSU College of Pharmacy.”
