SWOSU Students Plan One Day Without Shoes Awareness Project
The Southwestern Oklahoma State University chapters of Zeta Phi sorority and Phi Delta Chi fraternity have teamed up to bring the TOMS One Day Without Shoes project to the Weatherford campus this Tuesday, April 29.
The project is intended to raise awareness for the hundreds of millions of children in developing countries at risk for injury and disease, because they do not have shoes.
On Tuesday, the Greek organization members and other students will go without shoes. Shoe donation boxes will be in the Memorial Student Center lobby and the third floor lounge of the Chemistry, Pharmacy, and Physics Building. Donated shoes will go to the Weatherford Agape Clinic.
