OBI Thanks SWOSU Community for Large Blood Drive
Southwestern Oklahoma State University students, employees and friends have received thanks from the Oklahoma Blood Institute for a September blood drive that was 15% greater than the drive held in September 2013.
Rick Story of the OBI said recruiters examined the numbers from all universities, technical schools and high schools that are serviced by the Oklahoma City market and SWOSU’s drive was the second largest. The top drive was at the university in Norman.
“Let’s see, I think OU has more students than SWOSU so I am very proud of the students and faculty at SWOSU for their generous donations,” Story said.
