SWOSU Alumni Association Adds Six New Directors

Six outstanding graduates of Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford have been named to the SWOSU Alumni Association Board of Directors.

They are:

  • Jim Linker (Lieutenant Colonel, U.S. Army, Ret.) of Vernon (TX) is a 1974 graduate of SWOSU (B.S., Education) and retired public school administrator. He and his wife, Patti, are the proud parents of five children and proud grandparents of 16 grandchildren.  Linker is a native of Davison.
  • Lyndsey (McPherson) Hyde of Weatherford is a 2009 and 2011 SWOSU graduate (B. B. A., Marketing and M. Ed., Sports Management) and currently is marketing director of Weatherford-based ASAP Energy, Inc. She is a former SWOSU recruiter and is married to SWOSU Director of Strength and Conditioning Kevin Hyde. Hyde is a native of Washington.
  • Mark Province of Edmond is a 1981 SWOSU graduate (B.A., Political Science and B.B.A.) and currently is managing director and investment officer at Wells Fargo Advisors, L.L.C. He is a 30-year veteran of the financial services industry and is a former agent with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics. He and his wife, Terrill, are the proud parents of three daughters. Province is a native of Watonga.
  • Trevor Brownen of Weatherford is a 2012 SWOSU graduate (B.B.A., Finance and B.B.A., Accounting) and currently works as assistant vice president at the Weatherford branch of the Bank of Western Oklahoma. He is married to the former Haley Watson. Brownen is a native of Minco.
  • Mike Muncy of Oklahoma City is a 1977 SWOSU graduate and is currently vice president of Barry Rudy & Associates in Edmond. Prior to holding his current position, Muncy served at the Oklahoma Corporation Commission and Oklahoma Health Authority and has served a wide variety of financial institutions throughout Oklahoma. Muncy is a native of Geary and enjoys spending time with his wife, Elizabeth.
  • Jimmy Ingram of Weatherford is a 1989 SWOSU graduate (B.B.A.) and currently owns his own business, Ingram, Inc. He was previously employed for over a decade with the Cummins Automotive Group. A native of Hinton, Jimmy and his wife, Weatherford jeweler Kim Ingram, stay busy with their daughters McKinley and Dani.     

"I am looking forward having these members on the alumni board and having the opportunity to work with them,” said SWOSU Alumni Association President Mike Wilkes of Oklahoma City.

The SWOSU Alumni Association is a dynamic group of volunteers from all walks of life who are passionate about giving back to SWOSU. The association offers members a variety of benefits and event opportunities. The association’s Board of Directors meets regularly to conduct business benefitting SWOSU’s alumni and emeriti and serves as an important advisory body to the university’s administration.
