SWOSU Implements New Summer Hours on Weatherford Campus
As part of Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin’s 20 X 20 energy savings plan, Southwestern Oklahoma State University will implement new summer hours on the Weatherford campus.
Starting May 11 and continuing through August 7, SWOSU’s official administrative hours will be 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
“SWOSU strives to reduce energy costs,” said Executive Vice President Tom Fagan. “The university looked at various options for the summer months and feels this is the best one with all the summer camps and other activities that take place each year on the campus.”
Offices will be open from 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day. Offices that typically remain open during lunch hours will continue to maintain that procedure. Offices that normally close during lunch time will close 12 noon-12:30 p.m.
The SWOSU-Sayre campus summer hours are Mondays through Thursdays 7 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
