SWOSU to Host Issues Conference Geared to Regional Universities and Small Colleges
Southwestern Oklahoma State University will be the host site this fall for an administrative issues conference that will bring people to Weatherford from around the United States.
The Administrative Issues Journal (AIJ), based at SWOSU, is celebrating its 5th year anniversary this year and in recognition, journal organizers are bringing the Administrative Issues Conference back to SWOSU and Weatherford on October 22-23.
Editor-in-Chief Dr. Tami Moser said the AIJ is dedicated to expanding the knowledge of current multidisciplinary issues in administration. The AIJ provides a platform for the publication and promotion of viable blind-reviewed research at small colleges and regional universities throughout the United States.
The journal accepts articles related, but not limited to: Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Education Administration, Nursing Administration and Public Administration. The articles can relate directly to issues in education, practice and research. The journal accepts quantitative, qualitative and mixed methodology research.
The keynote speaker this year is Jeffrey Beall, associate professor and scholarly communications librarian at the University of Colorado in Denver. He is known for his creation of the Beall’s List, a list of predatory publishers that exploit open-access publishing models for profit.
