AASA Hosting Boba Tea Sales at SWOSU
The Asian American Student Association (AASA) is having its first food event of the year—Boba Tea Sales—on Tuesday through Thursday, October 25-27, on the Southwestern Oklahoma State University campus in Weatherford.
Boba tea, or bubble tea, is a popular Asian drink that originated in Taiwan that consists of brewed tea, cream, sugar, and chewy tapioca pearls.
“It’s sweet, refreshing, and delicious,” said Kristie Ton-That of the AASA.
AASA will be selling drinks each day from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the Memorial Student Center. There will be three flavors: Thai Tea, Green Tea and Thai Coffee.
