SWOSU Installs PBL Officers

The Phi Beta Lambda chapter at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford recently installed new officers for the 2017-18 year.

The officers are: Emmaly Helt, Kingfisher, president; Bailey Deutschendorf, Fairview, vice-president; Nehyma Martinez, Guymon, treasurer; Kylie Lent, Hinton, secretary; and Terin Brownen, Weatherford, reporter.

“This group is working hard to plan a year of events including tours of local businesses, guest speakers, service projects, and recruitment of high school students around the state to SWOSU,” said Jonna Myers, business instructor and PBL advisor.  “Involvement in organizations like PBL is one of the best ways to create meaningful relationships with peers and truly invest in your campus and community.”

Phi Beta Lambda is the collegiate division of the national association, Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, Inc. PBL brings business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs. SWOSU hosts this local chapter of the organization.
