GOLD Program Plans Fun Event for Students

The Guard Officer Leadership Development (GOLD) program is hosting a fun event for all students on Friday, February 9, on the campus of Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford.

The Oklahoma Army National Guard program at SWOSU will have rock wall games, inflatable events, knocker ball games, free pizza and beverages from 6-9 p.m. in the Wellness Center.

The GOLD program was re-established on the SWOSU campus in the fall of 2016.  The purpose of the program is to develop future federal-commissioned officers. After completion of the program, the candidate becomes a commissioned officer in the United States Army Reserve and serves in the Oklahoma Army National Guard.

Ashleigh Haskins said all SWOSU students are invited to enjoy the evening. For additional information, contact Haskins at 918.385.1988.
