RSS Feeds
What is RSS?
RSS (or Really Simple Syndication) feeds are free content feeds from web sites. It is updated automatically when new content is published to the site. You use a program called a "news reader" (other names include RSS readers, feed readers, feed aggregators or search aggregators) to subscribe to news feeds.
What are the benefits of using RSS?
RSS is an easy way for you to be alerted when content that interests you appears on your favorite web sites. Instead of visiting a particular web site to browse for new articles and features, RSS automatically tells you when something new is posted online.
How do I get started using RSS?
- Choose a news reader. Some browsers have a news reader built in or you can download one.
- Run the program.
- Paste the RSS Feed URL into your news reader. Choose from the following
