- Officials from Southwestern Oklahoma State University at Sayre will be at Elk City High School on Wednesday, May 7, to enroll high school students and any interested adults in college classes offered at Elk City and Sayre during the upcoming summer and fall semesters.

- Two Southwestern Oklahoma State University-Sayre students—Kasi Gaither of Shamrock (TX) and Joe Robinson of Boise City—were recently awarded $250 scholarships by the Oklahoma Society of Radiologic Technologists at the group’s state convention in Tulsa.

Distance Education Providing Opportunities for Students at SWOSU-Sayre

- Beginning this fall semester, Associate in Science degrees in General Education and General Business can be obtained entirely through distance learning from Southwestern Oklahoma State University-Sayre.
