- One hundred twenty three walkers and runners participated in the 7th annual SWOSU Gold Tough Enough to Wear Pink 5K Run/Walk held recently on the Weatherford campus.

- The Chemistry Club at Southwestern Oklahoma State University will hold its annual “Dog Wash” on Saturday, April 26, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Tractor Supply in Weatherford.

Men's & Coed Softball Tourneys Being Hosted by SWOSU Sorority

- Sigma Sigma Chi, a social sorority at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, will host an adult softball tournament on Saturday, April 26, at the Rader Park softball fields in Weatherford.

- The students of Southwestern Oklahoma State University will take to the online voting polls this Monday and Tuesday, April 21-22, to cast votes for Student Government officer candidates and mark preferences for next year’s Panorama Series.

SWOSU Group Provides Medical Needs to 322 in Panama

- Nineteen Southwestern Oklahoma State University students and faculty from the Division of Nursing and College of Pharmacy in Weatherford recently provided medical attention to 322 patients during a three-day period in Panama.

SWOSU Biology Team Studies Bees in Mexico

- Southwestern Oklahoma State University junior biology student Tim Stein of Enid and Biology Professor Dr. Victor H. Gonzalez recently spent time in Mexico doing ethnobiological research on bees with Dr. Jonathan Amith, an anthropologist from the Smithsonian Institution who has been working in Mexico for the last decade.

Blood Donors Invited to SWOSU Drive on Monday and Tuesday

- A blood drive hosted by the Collegiate Activities Board (CAB) will be held this Monday/Tuesday, April 7-8, at the Southwestern Oklahoma State University Wellness Center in Weatherford.
