United Regional is a rotation with the ability to be tailored to the needs of each individual student. It is a hospital site that has a broad area of practice. There is a Cardiovascular ICU unit, Medical/Surgical ICU unit, emergency room, surgery center, stroke unit, emergency department, bariatric unit, pediatric unit, and labor and delivery unit at United Regional. In this rotation, the attempt will be made to both accommodate student interests and to broaden the student’s experiences. The full spectrum of hospital pharmacy is available including: pharmacy administration, drug distribution, physician and nursing relations, and clinical pharmacy.
